With World Water Day celebrated on 22 March, Jose Ignacio Garcia, SJ opens another aspect of the water agenda of the Ignatian Advocacy Network on Ecology: the need to focus on the ethical implications of actions or decisions relating to water access, its consumption, and its conservation. Jesuits are also seeking global cooperation and networking of its various institutions, presented in a pdf brochure “Water for All: Jesuits seeking global cooperation” and can be viewed and downloaded in Ecojesuit. For the Lenten season, Ecojesuit shares a reflection by the Reverend Lucy Wambui Waweru of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, taken from the Seven Weeks for Water by the Ecumenical Water Network. Mariel de Jesus and Pedro Walpole, SJ share some of the highlights of the Asia Water Week 2013 conference that also sought cooperation and contribution for greater water sustainability and securing water access for all.
